Global Meeting 10

14.10.2010 - 16.10.2010

The 6th Edition of our Global Meeting will be held 14-16 October
2010 in Deauville (France) under the theme "Change: Make it happen". With a crisis here to stay, no one longer questions the need for our societies, companies, governments and ourselves to change. Within an era of defiance, uncertainty, conflicts of interest but also opportunities, it appears that traditional approaches and means of action have ceased to function.

A new era is in the offing, with new ideas, possibilities and solutions being tested, alternative groups being formed and new companies being set up. This is a promising and bold move and yet, we ignore to this day what these initiatives will yield.

For its 6th Edition, the Women’s Forum Global Meeting will focus on five main questions of change for our politics, economics and society, and business life:

ACT TOGETHER - Politics: Power structures which are cracking or have cracked; the potential for social unrest; uncertainty and unease.

INNOVATE - Economics:  Business models which worked well in the past are now failing, some of the largest corporations have become dinosaurs

FEED THE WORLD - Health

MAKE CLEAN & GREEN ACCESSIBLE FOR ALL - The environment: Remarkable new environmental technologies have appeared in prototype/first stage development form in recent years (e.g., cars/transportation, renewable energy, urban design/cities)

PUSH THE ENVELOPE ON THE WOMAN FACTOR - Business: Women have clearly gained in financial and economic power in the last 10-15 years. But what are the limits of the women factor?
