Europe’s growth model has been challenged as surely as that of other regions by the financial and economic turmoil of the last year. Are social equity and regional development still fundamentals for the EU? What about entrepreneurial innovation, an area where Europe has done less well than hoped or expected for some time? Policymakers and business leaders join in this session for a reflective discussion on the dilemmas and challenges for Europe’s economic growth policies in the context of its partners and competitors.
