Women For Education

Created in 2007 by the Women's Forum for the Economy and Society with ELLE magazine and the ELLE Foundation, Women for Education is an initiative that honors each year an international NGO working to train women in developing countries.

Award-winners have included projects in Afghanistan, Ethiopia, Haiti, India and Madagascar, as well as a panAfrican campaign to improve training for midwives.
