2019: Let's take the lead for inclusion!

As we are entering 2019, I would like to thank you very warmly for your unwavering commitment to the cause of gender equality, diversity and inclusiveness. Together with the Women's Forum community, we have successfully influenced different stakeholders to put women as the solution in a challenging world, to inspire confidence in the next generation. Under the overarching theme of Bridging Humanity in 2018 in different forums, we contributed to building bridges between different communities, leaders, generations, institutions and cultures to generate impact for a more progressive world. Just have in mind that in a "full potential" scenario in which women play an identical role in labor markets to that of men, as much as $28 trillions will be added to global annual GDP and 240 millions jobs created by 2025 according to McKinsey.
In 2018, the Women's Forum for the Economy & Society brought added value, best practices and success stories to promote women leadership in key issues such as AI, climate change, education, healthcare, smart cities, supply chain among others. The Women's Forum is proud to be the pioneer, to bring differentiation, and positive input for a more inclusive world. Some progress, some achievements are already visible and the gender gap is narrrowing.
I would like to share with you some of our successes and look back at our milestones in 2018.
