Women have the capacity to lead in the green economy transition, but they need representation and access so their leadership and skills can be fully realised and harnessed for innovative solutions to the grand challenge of climate change.
The charter outlines five dimensions of representation and access:
- gender equality in climate decision-making bodies;
- awareness of links between gender and climate and access to education and skills;
- access to the means of action;
- gendered data;
- access to resources
