Call for support to Malala Yousafzai

11. 5. 2012

At the closing of the 2012 Women’s Forum Global Meeting, Véronique Morali, President of the Women’s Forum for the Economy and Society, gave the organization support to 14 year‐old Malala Yousafzai, who was shot on October 10 in Pakistan in punishment for her struggle to open schools to girls.

"The Women Forum gives its full support to Malala Yousafzai and her campaign for girls' education in Pakistan — as well as to the broader cause of girls' education throughout the world. This is a human right."

We invite you to leave your comments on this page as a support to Malala and the cause of girls’ education throughout the world. We will highlight Malala’s fight and the cause of girls’ education at the next 2013 Women’s Forum Global Meeting.
