Paris, 15 June 2017 - On 27 June 2017, Women’s Forum Rome will launch a manifesto to support the Paris Agreement on Climate Change and trigger the engagement of key opinion leaders, women and men, in the political, economic, cultural, scientific and media fields worldwide. The Manifesto will be presented during Women’s Forum Rome by the economist Laurence Tubiana, CEO, European Climate Foundation, and COP21 negotiator. Women’s Forum Rome will be inaugurated by the President of the European Parliament, Antonio Tajani. Renowned guests also include Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca, President, Republic of Malta, Kersti Kaljulaid, President, Republic of Estonia, Elżbieta Bieńkowska European Commissioner for the Internal Market, Ambroise Fayolle, Vice President, European Investment Bank, Monica Maggioni, President, RAI, Marc Benayoun, CEO, Edison, Carlo d’Asaro Biondo, President, EMEA Strategic Relationships, Alphabet Inc & President EMEA, Google, and Federico Testa, President, Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development.

She added, “Sixty years ago, European treaties were signed here in Rome. We wish to send a strong message, based on common values and ideals”.
