The Rising Talents Initiative of the Women’s Forum for the Economy & Society in partnership with Egon Zehnder, Eurazeo and EY has announced the new cohort of young female leaders of 2017. 13 outstanding women from 12 countries working in diverse sectors including business, politics, finance and education have been nominated to join the Rising Talents network. They represent the vision of rising generations at the Women’s Forum Global Meeting and participate in global dialogues on the theme “Daring to lead in a disrupted world. Engage for Impact!”. Their stories on promoting female entrepreneurship in Switzerland, providing bikes for adolescent girls in Guatemala, supporting education initiatives in Bulgaria or reshaping jewelry industry in New York inspire women and men around the world to make a difference.
2017 also marks the 10th anniversary of the Women’s Forum Rising Talent Initiative through which the Women’s Forum has recognized and empowered young talented women who are change-makers. This is an opportunity for accomplished female leaders to reflect on their journey, envision a future to which they continue to contribute positively and draw inspiration from other leaders. All the Rising Talents alumnae are invited to the 2017 Women’s Forum Global Meeting and more than 40 of them will be present to celebrate this occasion. A plenary ‘Rising to the challenge: doing well by doing good” is dedicated to launching the findings of the research conducted by the Women’s Forum looking back at the success of the Rising Talents, their expectations and aspirations for the future.
The Women’s Forum for the Economy & Society would like to express its warmest congratulations to the Rising Talents and we look forward to welcoming them to Paris at the 13th edition of the Women’s Forum Global Meeting, 5-6 October 2017.
