Alicia White is a social innovator, activist, and change-maker. For over a decade, Alicia has worked in the social impact sector. Alicia's work focuses on the intersection of environmental justice, race, and climate. She is the Founder and Executive Director of Project Petals - a groundbreaking climate justice, environmental, and community development organization working in under-resourced and BIPOC communities. Through her work at Project Petals, Alicia has improved access to green spaces, urban conservation, and food security. Additionally, Alicia fosters environmental and climate change through her policy work as a committee and coalition member in connection with the largest environmental bond act to be passed in New York's history. People Magazine highlighted Alicia's work in its Resiliency Rising Series. She has received numerous awards for her work from the Discovery Channel, NYC Mayor's Office, Points of Light, and the Sweetwater Clifton award from the NBA.
