Description
UNICEF reports that 27 million children who are of primary and lower secondary school age are currently out of school in 24 countries affected by conflict. Girls are particularly vulnerable in conflict situations, as they face greater barriers to accessing education compared to boys. This can hinder the progress towards achieving gender equality. In light of these challenges, what measures can be taken to ensure that girls have equal access to education during times of conflict?
