Sarah McGrath is the CEO of Women for Women France (WFWF), the national organisation dedicated to supporting the rights of immigrant women facing domestic abuse and other forms of gender-based violence in France. Under her leadership, WFWF has significantly expanded its services, including the launch of the world’s first Multilingual Online Resource Centre for domestic abuse victims. WFWF has also become a powerful advocate at the national level, successfully improving language accessibility and promoting the importance of intersectional considerations within key public and victim services in France.
Sarah played a key role in bringing coercive control onto the national political agenda in France, advocating for its recognition as the most comprehensive legal definition of domestic abuse. An Australian immigrant to France, her background in finance, management, and sustainable development policy has informed her approach to her work at Women for Women France.
