Description
Sandrine Giroud is a lawyer and partner with LALIVE in Geneva. Since April 2024, she is the President of the Geneva Bar Association (GBA), only the second woman to hold this position in 129 years. She specialises in domestic and international litigation, with a focus on commercial and financial disputes, private client disputes, fraud and asset recovery, white collar crime, human rights and international sanctions.
As President of the GBA she aims to defend the legal profession and the fundamental mission of lawyers as guarantors of the rule of law. She also works for the recognition and promotion of the economic value of legal services and Geneva as a legal capital, notably through the Geneva International Legal Association (GILA), of which she is President.
