Anna Shvets is an Assistant Professor of Interactive Music Technology at the Mixed Reality Lab, University of Nottingham. Holding a PhD in computational musicology, she is deeply committed to exploring the intersection of creative expression and computational innovation. In 2023, she introduced a new genre in Music XR and trained the first spiking neural network for symbolic music generation. Her research has been recognized by the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI) and the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). She has received several awards and has a strong publication record, confirming her significant contributions to the field.
