Biography
Nadine Perrault is UNICEF Representative in Cameroon since January 2022. Prior to her current role, Nadine served as UNICEF Representative in Guinea-Bissau and in El Salvador. Before that, she worked with UNICEF Regional Office in Latin America and the Caribbean as Regional Advisor Child Protection based in Panama where she supported the establishment of Child Protection Systems in the LAC region. A passionate advocate for children’s rights, Nadine began her career with UNICEF in New York working as Project Officer Child Rights. She has extensive experience at national and internal levels in development and gender equality with a strong focus on children’s rights. She has worked closely with government officials and members of the parliament on women’s rights and children’s rights issues and has a strong history of effective collaboration and partnership building between UN agencies and other partners around women’s and children’s rights. Prior to joining UNICEF, Nadine served as the Director of a non-governmental organization working on women’s rights and children’s rights in Haiti.
Nadine also worked as a lawyer and served as a judge in Haiti.
A national of Haiti, Nadine Perrault holds a master’s in International Business Law from Fordham University in the USA and a Law degree from the State University of Haiti.
