Biography
Agathe Bousquet is the President of Publicis Groupe France since 2017, President of Leo, launched in January 2025, and member of the Excom of Publicis Groupe since September 2022. Agathe started her career in the non-profit sector, working for Solidarité Sida. There, she participated in the creation of the festival Solidays that lives on today. In 2001, she joined Havas Group, where she held various positions before being appointed President of Havas Paris in 2012. As President of Publicis Groupe France, Agathe oversees all agency activities in France. Under her leadership, Publicis Groupe in France has become the market leader across different expertise: media, data, technology and creativity. In January 2025, Arthur Sadoun entrusted Agathe with the co-Presidency of Leo, led together with Marco Venturelli, Chief Creative Officer of Publicis in France and CEO of Publicis Conseil. Leo is a creative constellation gathering 15,000 talents in 90 countries, aiming to lead the world's biggest brands towards creative excellence in the age of AI. Altogether Leo has received 8 “Agency of the Year” nominations and over 400 creative awards. Throughout her career, Agathe has remained true to her values, and has been particularly attentive to societal and environmental transformation issues. In 2021, per the request of the French Ministry of Ecological Transition, she and Arnaud Leroy, President of the ADEME, submitted a report on “Climate Contracts” for more sustainable advertising. Agathe Bousquet is a member of the Board of Solidarité Sida, as well as a member of the Board of the AACC (Association of Consulting & Creative Agencies). She is Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur.
