Biography
Anne-Laure Sellier is the Cartier-Chaired Professor of Behavioral Science at HEC Paris. She holds a Ph.D. in management from INSEAD (France). Prior to joining HEC Paris in 2012, she was a faculty member at the London Business School in England, and at the Stern Business School of New York University, in the USA. Before turning to academic research, Anne Laure started her career in the pharmaceutical industry.
Her current research interests are in the area of time perception influences on decision-making, creativity, cognitive biases and debiasing, self-regulation, self-control, consumer happiness, and generally in how emotions and cognitions interact in judgment and decision-making. Anne Laure’s research appeared in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, the Journal of Marketing Research, the Journal of Experimental Social Psychology, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, Nature: Scientific Data, Psychological Science, the Journal of Consumer Psychology, and the Journal of Paediatrics.
