Terri Fielding Partner Audit & Assurance Email: tfielding@deloitte.co.uk Career Summary Terri is an Audit and Assurance Partner with over 25 years of specialisation in the Investment Management and Private Equity sector. She is the sponsoring Partner for the Deloitte Academy Women on Boards Programme and is passionate about developing a strong and diverse financial services community. She is the Financial Services Talent Partner and COO and sits on Deloitte’s UK Financial Services Executive. Terri’s client base is focused on large and complex organisations with heavy hitting Boards. She has been a Partner since 2014. She has a risk, controls and governance background and is known in the sector for delivering real impact, meaningful challenge and insight in her interactions with senior stakeholders and Executives. Terri leads our Investment Management and Wealth NEDs programme, facilitating discussions on topics that matter to Boards and their independent NEDs, with regular attendance by all of the large and listed asset management firms in the sector. She has regular interaction with Boards, Audit Committees and Senior Executives on areas that require their focus and attention. Clients I have spent my career as both an external auditor and an advisor to organisations on their risk and control frameworks and governance processes. I am the Lead Audit Partner for CVC Capital Partners plc, a private equity and investment advisory firm with over EUR 186BN of assets under management, and for Oxford University Endowment Management. I was previously the lead audit Partner for the Wellcome Trust, a large and high-profile public interest entity with a circa £40BN diversified on balance sheet investment portfolio. I have worked closely as a trusted advisory with a number of family offices and sovereign wealth funds to strengthen and enhance their risk and control environments. I have a strong understanding of risk and a strong quality record, having recently had two clean AQRT inspections. Areas of Specialism I have 25 years of specialization in the investment management and private equity sector. I am British ACA and a Canadian Chartered Accountant. I have a risk, controls and governance focus and joined Deloitte in 1999. Highlights of Client Experience I was the lead Partner on the listing of CVC Capital Partners plc, signing the opinion on the Historical Financial Information presented in the listing. I have worked outside of the profession in a secondment capacity as Global Head of Internal Audit at two leading asset management firms (top 10 firms by AUM in the UK), where I had regular interaction with Audit Committees and Senior Executives to present my recommendations on areas that required their focus and attention.
