Laura Vanhanen is a career diplomat from Finland with experience in multilateral diplomacy, crisis contexts and strategic communications. Her recent diplomatic postings were in Tehran and Paris. She is currently working with foreign policy communications and public diplomacy in Helsinki. Vanhanen has a proven track record in advancing human rights with a collaborative, dynamic leadership style and commitment to making diplomacy more inclusive and impactful. She is a winter sports enthusiast and it’s the great outdoors where she feels most at home.
