Damilola Asaleye 

Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer | Ashdam Colar Co Ltd

NIGERIA 

Damilola Asaleye is Chief Operating Officer and a Co-founder of Ashdam Solar Co Ltd, a social enterprise focused on solving energy poverty in Nigeria through providing access to clean energy and renewable energy capacity building. She is also Vice President of the Renewable Energy Association of Nigeria and Founder & Executive Director of the non-profit Girls and Women Technological Empowerment Organisation. 6000 girls and 250 women have been empowered through her various initiatives such as Green Tech Girls Summer Bootcamp, Solar Queen Technical Training Program and solar for market women project. She is pursuing her PhD in Energy Engineering.

Souad Boutegrabet

CEO | DesCodeuses

FRANCE 

Souad Boutegrabet is CEO of DesCodeuses. After 10 years in the banking sector, she decided to become a programmer, a very restricted sector for women. She created DesCodeuses in 2017 with the mission to aid in the professional integration of women in tech, designed specifically for women from urban neighborhoods and addressing the obstacles to access training and technical jobs. DesCodeuses runs professional training programmes through centers in Paris and Saint-Ouen and will soon open campuses in Marseille and Lille.

Alicia Combaz

Alicia Combaz is the founder and CEO of Make.org, an independent and non-partisan platform whose purpose is to catalyse citizens’ ideas in order to implement actions that will shape the society of tomorrow. Founded in 2016 out of a concern for the safety of democracy, Make.org has engaged 8.7 million participants, with 260K+ solutions submitted and over 900+ associations and partners. A graduate of NEOMA Business School, Alicia has 15+ years of experience in diverse sectors including technology, media, marketing and more. Alicia volunteers with the NGO Empow’Her in France as a Women'Act France Mentor, a 10-month support program for women with impact projects in the launch/consolidation phase throughout France. She also mentors the NGO La Fourmillère which works in favor of refugees & against precariousness.

Asrar Damdam

Founder & CEO | Uvera

SAUDI ARABIA

Asrar Damdam Asrar Damdam is a scientist and entrepreneur who pursued her Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering with her research focusing on the Internet of Food. Asrar was awarded the L’Oréal-UNESCO “For Women in Science Middle East Young Talents” Award in 2020 and was named to Forbes 30 under 30 list of innovators for 2021. She is the founder and CEO of Uvera, a Silicon Valley cleantech startup that focuses on tackling the global challenge of reducing food waste to half by 2030.

Gold Darr Hood

Founder | GEDI, Collaborative Capital, Victoria

UNITED STATES / ITALY

Patent-holding engineer/MBA, professor, and venture capitalist, Gold is a serial entrepreneur and innovator with a unique systems perspective. She began research in sustainable materials and energy back in 2008 and her doctoral work was in AI-enabled complex decision support systems with integrated robotics and geospatial elements was designed for managing wildfires and later expanded to global resource allocation in government applications. Her two most recent adventures are BlackRock and 4Earth, where she has focused on changing macroeconomic incentives to align capitalist structures with the UN SDGs so all businesses are incentivized to build a better world.

Anne-Laure de Chammard

Anne-Laure de Chammard is a member of the Executive Board of Siemens Energy since 2022. She leads one of the group's 4 global divisions, the "Transformation of Industry" business area, dedicated to the decarbonization of industrial processes. Before joining Siemens Energy, Anne-Laure was CEO of Engie Energy Solutions International. She has spent the last 15 years working in industrial, energy and environmental services, in the private and public sectors, in France and internationally. She holds master’s degrees in engineering from Ecole Polytechnique and from Ecole des Ponts, and holds a master's degree from Harvard.

Fatimah Hossaini

Artist & Activist, CEO of Mastoorat Foundation

Fatimah Hossaini is an Afghan Tehran-born artist, photographer, curator, exhibitioner and Founder of Mastooraat Organization. With a Bachelor of Arts in Photography from University of Tehran and a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, she taught at the Art Faculty of Kabul University from 2018-2019. Fatimah works to defend Women and refugee rights on international platforms. Her work tells powerful stories of identity and femininity in Afghanistan.

Yuliya Hvozdovych

Founder, Parents in Action | Expert, Council of Europe in Ukraine

UKRAINE

Yuliya Hvozdovych is the Founder of two NGOs, “Parents in Action” and “Community Time,” and serves the Council of Europe in Ukraine as expert on the project “Strengthening civil participation in democratic decision making in Ukraine.” She is the regional representative for the Ukrainian Women Democracy Network. Yuliya is a native of Lviv, Ukraine and served as a deputy on the Lviv city council for 5 years. Yuliya has a postgraduate degree from the institute of Regional Studies of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and is a PhD candidate in economic sciences. Yuliya is a mother to three children.

Dr. Nupur Kohli is a healthcare leader, medical doctor, author, innovative speaker, supervisory board member of UNICEF in the Netherlands and member International Advisory of the Amsterdam Economic Board in the Netherlands. She is also current Leader of Global Shapers, World Economic Forum, in Amsterdam. A former strategy healthcare management advisor, she is a medical advisor in the healthcare insurance sector in the Netherlands.

Karima Ladhani

Dr. Karima Ladhani is a human-centered, impact oriented social innovator. She is the Founder & CEO of Barakat Bundle, a non-profit that creates lifesaving bundles for mothers and newborns in need in South Asia, and Giving Cradle, a social enterprise that sells safe-sleep bamboo cradles to families that give back in North America. She has over a decade of experience in private and public sector innovation, business development, and project management; most recently serving as Director of Programs at the Harvard Ministerial Leadership Program. While beginning her career in finance with degrees in math and business from the University of Waterloo (Canada), she went on to complete her MPH and PhD from Harvard University and earn entrepreneurship awards from Harvard Business School, Aspen Ideas Festival, LinkedIn For Good, WeWork and more.

Bonnie Lei

Head of Environmental Justice, Employee Engagement, and Ecosystems | Microsoft

Bonnie is Microsoft’s first Head of Environmental Justice, Employee Engagement, and Ecosystems. She embeds environmental justice at the heart of the company’s sustainability commitments and empowers every employee to contribute to them. She also leads Microsoft’s effort to protect more land than it uses by 2025. Previously, she was a founding member of AI for Earth, where she awarded over 850 grants in 110 countries and helped build the first Planetary Computer. Bonnie started her career as a conservation biologist, from helping initiate Wildlife Conservation Society’s marine program in Myanmar to discovering a new sea slug species in the Caribbean. She received a B.A. in biology from Harvard University and was an inaugural Schwarzman Scholar at Tsinghua University. Bonnie has been recognized as an Aspen Institute First Mover Fellow, National Geographic Explorer, The Trust for Public Land’s Next Gen Councilor, and served on Seattle’s Urban Forestry Commission.

Linda Mabhena-Olagunju is the Founder and CEO of DLO Energy Resources Group (Pty) Ltd a 100% black female owned energy company which owns and operates one of Africa’s largest wind farms. Over and above power generation, DLO recently acquired Conco Energy Solutions a subsidiary of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange listed Consolidated Infrastructure Group. The acquisition created South Africa’s first majority black female owned EPC and O&M companies in the power sector. She is also a seasoned board executive and a trusted advisor she surrently serves as a an advisor to the Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy for the Republic of South Africa. She also a board member fo the University of Oxford’s Internation Adisory Board and Senior Advisor in Concordia. She is also a member of YPO. She is 1 of 2 South Africans listed on the top 30 of the prestigious Choiseul 100 Africa Economic Leaders For Tomorrow.

Anum Malkani currently serves as the Head of Public Policy for Pakistan, Cambodia and Myanmar at Amazon Web Services. Anum has decade of experience in public policy and business, with a focus on the technology sector and is particularly passionate about digital transformation, IT policy, and private sector development. Anum has worked at Microsoft, managing a business segment in Pakistan, Lebanon and Jordan. Tamarah Moutotekema Boussamba is an Economist and Entrepreneur, Founder & CEO of AGRIDIS, an agribusiness which produces and sells cassava in Sub-Saharan Africa. Moreover, she is the Co-founder of Wagui, an app which gives advice and connects farmers to buyers. Throughout her professional career she has received numerous national and international recognitions, such as the Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneur Prize, the 2017 Milead Fellow "Most Outstanding Woman Under 25" Award by the Moremi Initiative, Obama Leader Africa and Mandela Washington Fellowship. Yesmean Wahdan

Dr. Yesmean Wahdan, MD is a Vice President of US Medical Affairs in the Bayer Women’s HealthCare division. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from Marymount University and her Medical Degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine. She completed her OB/GYN residency at combined program at Georgetown University Medical Center and Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC.
