HOW TO ACCELERATE PROGRESS FOR AN EQUAL FUTURE?
In the face of the new reality instilled by the coronavirus pandemic, we are bound together more than ever. Let’s design an inclusive ‘she-covery’ : for the women who continue to be disproportionately affected, and for everyone else who needs their leadership and positive impact. The coronavirus crisis and the subsequent recession drive home the urgent need to build back better and reshape the world together. These also present an unprecedented, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to accelerate inclusive progress. Women’s talents and leadership at all levels must be fully expressed to design a more just and inclusive economy and society. The Women’s Forum Virtual Global Meeting from 18-19 November 2020 will gather more than 25,000 disruptive change-makers across business, government, academia, civil society and other sectors to unlock the power of women’s leadership and put it at the heart of the road to recovery. All sessions will be virtual . We will launch the first Gender Equity Barometer to highlight the disparity between perception and reality on gender-related topics in G7 countries. We will also host 2020 editions of our CEO Champions and Rising Talents initiatives. Together with our partners, and through our Daring Circles initiatives, we aim to draw on women’s talents and abilities to build back better. We are strengthening our action to ensure that women are the leading force to shape the new world that humanity needs. Together, we strive to place inclusion and justice at the heart of innovations, policies and solutions to build a more inclusive sustainable future. Women are leading a decade of action – and women’s voices must be heard for an inclusive recovery. Will you join us to accelerate progress for an equal future? MORE INFORMATION
