The Women4Health Daring Circle aims to improve women’s health and to explore unique and paramount ways to enhance their health status and their quality of life. Women represent 70% of the global health and social care [1], and carry out more than 75% of unpaid care work globally [2]. However, women have always had to overcome many barriers to get full access to healthcare.
Lack of reliable and gender-disaggregated data and in pertinent research on female specific diseases is a burning question that leads to a risk of misdiagnosis and consequently improper treatment. In order to address this pressing issue, the Daring Circle analyses the changes that have to be undertaken in health systems to establish a healthy life for women and the conditions that allow them to make optimal health choices. Therefore, the Daring Circle focuses on tackling female health needs by providing innovative and efficient strategies and key solutions that can be conceived integrating women’s leadership, including in developing and deploying new technology.
The Women4Health Daring Circle is led by AXA in collaboration with Standard Chartered, WHO and Miye.
